THE TREATMENT: WHY COMBINE THEM?
Chisel ‘N’ Chill brings together two of the most effective technologies in non-surgical body contouring. CoolSculpting® gets rid of unwanted fat using cryoliposis (fat freezing) and EMSculpt® uses high-intensity focused electro-magnetic energy (HIFEM) to induce supramaxial (more than the maximum response) muscle contractions which also increase fat metabolism. When combined, you not only get the fat reduction of CoolSculpting® but the toning effects of EMSculpting® giving you an incredible dual result. COOLSCULPTING®
Also known as fat freezing and cryolipolysis, CoolSculpting® is a non-invasive treatment that targets fat across concentrated areas of the body which are often hard to remove with diet and exercise alone. The treated fat cells are destroyed and over the coming weeks, they are removed naturally by the body for good. Areas treated include the double chin, chest, love handles or sides of the body, stomach, buttocks, thighs and arms.
EMSCULPT NEO®
This revolutionary new body sculpting treatment uses HIFEM technology which causes the target muscles, usually the abs or glutes, to contract in a way that is not possible from exercise. In response to these contractions, the muscle reconstructs itself, and fat in the area begins to melt away more easily. A 30-minute session equates to an incredible 20,000 sit-ups or squats. 96% of patients surveyed by manufacturers BTL say they are satisfied with their EMSculpt Neo® treatment.

Your expert practitioner will devise a bespoke treatment plan for you based on your individual requirements, including the desired number of areas to be treated.
You will start to see a change at around four to six weeks post-treatment, and this will continue to improve with optimal results see at around six months after your final treatment.
Whilst the fat freezing results of CoolSculpting® are permanent because the treatment kills fat cells off for good, EMSCULPT® muscle definition lasts for around six months or longer so you may wish to have a top-up session. At Cavendish Clinic we recommend that patients maintain a healthy diet and exercise to reap the benefits of this treatment for longer, but follow up sessions of EMSCULPT® may be desirable too.
The great thing about non-invasive body contouring is that no downtime is required- you can have the treatment on your lunch break and resume your normal activities straight after. With CoolSculpting®, we do recommend massage to the treated area to remove any fluid and fat cells – your CoolSculpting® practitioner will advise you on this at your appointment.
Whilst CoolSculpting® might feel a bit chilly as the applicators are applied, the sensation of EMSCULPT® is like an intensive workout in the gym. You can feel it working! Most patients relax during treatment and catch up on some rest or watch Netflix with us.

Chisel & Chill is a fat freezing and muscle defining treatment which can be used on a number of areas of the body, from those hard to shift love handles, muffin tops, tummy, thighs and buttocks. Both CoolSculpting® and EMSCULPT® provide focussed treatments meaning you can really target those specific, problem areas.
This will depend on your individual treatment plan based on the areas being treated and varies from person to person, but you can expect between one to three CoolSculpting® sessions and four EMSCULPT® sessions in your plan for optimum results.
